Originally from Minnesota, Sarah Klok (she/they) is a dance artist based in New York City. Back home, she was a trainee with Ballet Co.Laboratory, and was granted the opportunity to be their inaugural Choreographic Mentorship Student during the 2022/23 season. Here, they created and set a new work for the Performance Ensemble and were mentored through the process by director Genevieve Waterbury. Sarah is currently a first-year student in the Alvin Ailey/Fordham University BFA Program, where they have performed in repertoire by Adrienne Hurd and Imani Faye. In addition to performing, she can often be found behind the scenes, working on many choreographic projects. Most recently, they have worked on two dance pieces for film, one of which was selected to premiere in the Finding Compassion Showcase in June 2024.
