Noel Olson was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. They began their training at a local studio now known as The American Midwest Ballet School. They studied ballet, jazz, and contemporary techniques during their time there. They also regularly performed in American Midwest Ballet’s shows such as The Nutcracker. In 2019 they moved to New York to train at The Ailey School and studied additional techniques such as Horton and Graham. During their time at The Ailey School they studied multiple works in The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s repertory, learning directly from former first and second company members such as Freddie Moore, Guillermo Asca, Elizabeth Roxas and Renne Robinson. They worked with Red is Dancing in a tribute to Judy Chicago for Elle Magazine. They have also worked with choreographers such as Katy Pyle, Janice Rosario, and Ronald K. Brown.
