Madisen Nielsen is a New York City based dancer originally from Iowa. She has a B.F.A in Dance from Stephens College, and has had the pleasure of performing with the Limón Dance Company, Nylon Fusion Theater Company, Ballet Theater of Maryland, Benjamin Briones Ballet, and American Swiss Ballet. She has had the incredible opportunity to perform both domestically and internationally during her professional career. Madisen has had the opportunity to work with many great choreographers, and has performed works at: The Joyce Theater, Aaron Davis Hall, Theater at St. Jeans, Theater 555, The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, The New Ohio Theater, Ballet Arts, The Tank, and the Citizen Jane Film Festival. She has studied an array of dance styles from various artists including: Sonia Melo, Alphonso Bausilio, Elizabeth Hartwell, Nancy Stoy, Madame Peff Modeski, Darren Gibson, Carol Schuberg, Deborah Carr, Kathryn Alter, Logan Kruger, Daniel Fetecua, Brandi Colemen, Carolyn Dorfman, Autumn Eckman, and Charissa Barton.
